The CUET 2024 Phase 2 for Delhi University (DU) undergraduate admissions have officially begun on 01st August 2024. The NTA recently released the CUET scores on 28th July 2024. This marks a significant milestone in the DU UG Admission 2024 process, setting the stage for thousands of aspirants to secure a place at one of India’s most prestigious universities.
The CUET 2024 Phase 2 is part of the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS). This is the streamlined process used by DU for its admissions. The initiation of this phase means that the first allotment list for the 2024 academic year is now just around the corner, with its release scheduled for August 16.
CUET 2024 Phase 2: DU Key Dates & Allotment Rounds
The University of Delhi has planned the admission process to ensure it is as smooth and transparent as possible for all applicants. The first step was the registration and application phase, where candidates submitted their CUET scores and other necessary details. Now, with Phase II underway, the focus shifts to the seat allocation and confirmation stages.
Students can expect the first DU UG allotment list by August 16, 2024. This will allow the candidates to apply for admission to the allotted college and course. This list is eagerly awaited by students and parents alike, as it is an important step towards finalizing their college placements.

The University of Delhi will continue to release the subsequent rounds of allotment if all the seats are not filled. It may also release spot rounds for the students who did not get any college.

CUET 2024 Phase 2 CSAS Registration Fees
The registration fee for CUET 2024 Phase 2 under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is as follows:
- UR/OBC-NCL/EWS: Rs. 250
- SC/ST/PwBD: Rs. 100
- Additional fee for BFA/BSc (PE, HE & S)/BA (H) Music: Rs. 400
- ECA and Sports quota: Rs. 100 per quota

What Should Students Do?
Students need to be patient and proactive during this phase. Upon the release of the first allotment list, they must confirm their acceptance of the allotted seat within the stipulated time frame. Failing to do so can result in the loss of the allocated seat, making it imperative to adhere to all deadlines and instructions provided by DU.
For those who do not secure a seat in the first round, there is no need to panic. Subsequent allotment rounds will follow, offering additional opportunities to obtain a seat in their preferred course and college.
