About Top 10 MBBS Entrance Exam
In this section, we will explain top 10 exams:
NEET
NEET Exam or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, is an entrance examination for medical aspirants wanting to pursue a career in this field. The exam is conducted as per the regulations of the National Medical Commission Act-2019, Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 and others as amended consequently.
NEET PG
NEET PG is an internationally accepted exam for MD / MS and PG Diploma courses. It is held annually by the NBE (National Examination Board). The score you get from this MBBS entrance exam is also considered in the post-MBBS DNB studies. This test is an online based exam. Every year around 10000 students appear for this test.
NEET SS
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) or NEET SS is conducted by NBE for admission to various DM/MCh courses. NEET SS scores are accepted by all private medical colleges/universities, deemed universities and the Armed forces medical services institutions.
However, the following institutions do not accept the scores of NEET SS and conduct a separate entrance test for admissions to their super-Speciality courses like AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, SCTIMST, etc.
NEET MDS
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS, or NEET MDS, is another NBE test. The NEET MDS is offered once, every year, for admission to graduate dental courses in India. The NEET MDS is a three-hour computer-based exam that carries 240 MCQs. Each question has four marks and there is a contradictory mark of one mark for each incorrect answer.
INI CET
INI CET is an MBBS entrance exam offered by AIIMS, Delhi for admission to its postgraduate courses. In addition to MD / MS courses, exam scores are also used for admission to six-year DM / MCh courses offered at AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER and NIMHANS. AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted twice a year, in the months of January and July.

FMGE
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, popularly known as FMGE, is conducted by the NBE. FMGE is a licensed examination conducted by those wishing to practice medicine in India, but who have just completed their basic medical degree from outside India. FMGE is done twice a year.
AIAPGET
The All-India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, or AIAPGET, is held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. AIAPGET is a national entrance examination for postgraduate AYUSH programmes in India. Candidates who pass the AIAPGET test will be eligible to enroll in MS, MD, or PG diploma programmes in any of the AYUSH disciplines, including Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.
DNB PDCET
The Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test, or DNB PDCET, is a ranking test administered by the National Board of Examinations. DNB PDCET is a test for admission to DNB courses in India, as the name implies. However, the applicants must possess a postgraduate diploma to apply for the DNB PDCET exam.
JIPMER
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Instruction and Research is one of India’s oldest medical schools, offering high-quality education in European medicine. The institute, which is located in Puducherry, holds its own medical entrance exam every year to identify suitable applicants for its various programmes.
CMSE
Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) is directed by the UPSC consistently with a point of recruiting medical professionals into different associations and administrations under public authority of India. This is a national level MBBS entrance exam that is directed according to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the Gazette of India.
