ITI courses (Industrial Training Institute) provide training for a number of technical and non-technical fields. The courses are exclusively trade-specific, hence they impart essential skills important for a particular trade. This page will give you lists of ITI courses after 10th and after class 8, both.
ITI courses can be of two types: engineering & non-engineering. Batch size of each class ranges from 12-24x
ITI is only a Vocational Certificate Course and not a Diploma (which are offered by Polytechnic colleges). A degree course in a similar trade/ stream (i.e. B. Tech/ BE) is the longest course offered by other private/non-private colleges.
So, ITI is the most initial course and is a certificate, diploma courses are offered by Polytechnics and degree courses by Engineering Colleges.
