Candidates must have passed 10+2 with science scheme/High School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science Examination or equivalent examination from a recognized University/Board of any State in India. They should have studied English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects and obtain minimum aggregate marks of 55% for Gen/OBC candidates and 50% in the case of SCs/STs category candidates.

AIIMS B.Sc. (Post-Basic) Nursing Exam
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board/university. Candidates with a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from any institution recognized by the Nursing Council of India are eligible to apply. Applicants must be registered as an RN or RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any state board of nursing.
Male nurses who passed before the introduction of the new integrated course in 2003 must be registered as nurses with the State Nursing Council. They are required to obtain a general nursing certificate and instead of training in midwifery, training in any of the following subjects for six months:
