GATE Exam 2024 Participating Colleges

When it comes to pursuing higher education in engineering, the GATE scores open doors to some of the finest institutions in India. GATE is administered jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (namely, IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee).

These IITs also accept GATE scores. These institutions are renowned for their exceptional faculty, cutting-edge research, and comprehensive academic programs.

In addition to these renowned IITs, there are a total of 1308 engineering colleges across India that recognize and accept GATE scores for admission. One of the key factors that set GATE apart is its recognition by both government and private engineering colleges, ensuring a diverse array of options for aspiring engineers.

Most of the engineering colleges participating in GATE are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and are affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC). This stamp of approval ensures that students receive quality education and a curriculum aligned with industry standards.
