• Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to commerce courses and related.

• The University of Calicut offers a number of courses under its Masters of Science (M.Sc.) and Masters of Arts (M.A.) programs. Some of the following are:

Eligibility and Selection criteria for M.Sc.

Eligibility criteria for Admission to B.Ed.:

• To apply for University of Calicut entrance examinations for this program, candidates must visit University admission website and complete the Calicut University application registration
• Candidate can click here for online registration at the Calicut University for B.Ed program.
• Candidates having B.A/B.Sc. Degree with 50% marks is eligible for admission to B.Ed. program.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Bachelor’s in Technology with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for B.Ed. program in Physical Science and Mathematics optional.

Eligibility criteria for Admission to M.Ed.:

• Candidates are requested to fill online applications form for admission to M.Ed. program to the Department of Education and Government Colleges /Aided Colleges /University Teacher Education Centers/Un Aided Colleges affiliated to University of Calicut.
• To apply for University of Calicut entrance examinations for this program, candidates must visit University admission website and complete the Calicut University application registration.
• Candidates must register through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) at the official website.
• The online fee for registration is Rs.555/ for General candidates and Rs.280 for SC/ST

Eligibility criteria for Admission to MBA:

• Exams for the selection for MBA are: CMAT conducted by AICTE, KMAT conducted by ASC, Thiruvananthapuram or CAT conducted by IIMs
• Selection of the candidate will be based on the score obtained 2020 in the entrance examinations and the score obtained in the GD and Personal Interview conducted by the University of Calicut.
• Candidates having a bachelors degree in any subject from University of Calicut or any other university /Institution with having passed with no less than 50% marks in aggregate, including the marks of the languages, if any, are eligible for admission to MBA
• Applications for registration are done online by creating the CAP ID for MBA 2020, followed by the filing up of personal details and payment
• The application fee for General category is Rs.555/- and Rs.187/- for SC/ST respectively

Eligibility criteria for Admission to PhD courses:

• Candidates who want to apply for PhD at Calicut University, must have a Masters degree or a Professional degree recognized or equivalent to the Masters degree of University of Calicut
• The entrance exam for PhD admissions is conducted by Research Departments/Entrance Conducting Authorities
• Candidates eligible for registration to PhD will be decided by a two stage process – Entrance Test and Interview
• Candidates scoring 50% or more aggregate are eligible to apply for PhD at various colleges/ university of Calicut.
• Candidates, who have been shortlisted after the entrance exam, or otherwise eligible, are required to apply to the Department/Centre/Affiliated College directly in the prescribed forms along with application fee for admission.
