Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) exam is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Created by business schools for business schools, the Graduate Management Admission Test® (gmat®) exam is the most widely used standardized assessment that measures critical thinking and higher-order reasoning skills.
The GMAT exam is designed to test skills that are important to pursue Graduate level (or Post Graduate level as it is known in India) programs in Business and Management. It assesses the problem-solving abilities, logic and critical reasoning, and analytical writing skills that are vital to real-world business and management success. Only the GMAT exam includes Integrated Reasoning, a section designed specifically to measure a candidateâs ability to evaluate information presented in different formats and from multiple sources. GMAT scores are essential for applying for admission to Graduate or Masterâs level programs in Business and Management offered by most of the Universities and Business Schools in the USA and also many Business Schools in other countries, including India.
The exam is made up of different types of questions so that you can demonstrate your ability in several skills required to be successful in graduate business school.
Participant must have completed 18 Years of age.
As such, there is no set eligibility criteria set by GMAC, the body conducting GMAT for appearing for the GMAT examination.

In total the test takes just under 3 1/2 hours to complete, including two optional breaks.

You can take or retake the GMAT exam after every 16 days. You can appear for the exam a maximum of five times in a year.
