Forensic Medicine specialist is a person who collects medical (biological) evidence from the crime spot, take them to the lab, do tests on these all evidence and brings information that might be useful in solving the crime. Some of the evidence that forensic medicine specialist collects include body parts, body fluids (saliva, blood, urine, etc), DNA, whole body, hair and nails, semen, etc. They perform many tests on these to assist police to solve the crime. Some of these tests include DNA sampling, blood test, post-mortem, etc. As a forensic medicine expert, you will either be working at a crime scene where you will collect all evidence or you will be working in the lab where you will do all tests on the obtained evidence.
